President's Message

Welcome to the Quirindi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism's website - we are a very positive group of people who try to address business issues affecting the Quirindi area.

New businesses continue to become established in Quirindi and younger people are taking over the ownership of some of the existing businesses which augurs well for the future of the business community in Quirindi.

Since the upgrading of the main street, locals and outsiders speak very positively about the town and comment on how progressive it is. More and more tourist groups are visiting the town and the growth of the Quirindi Rural Heritage Village, the First Fleet Gardens at Wallabadah and the Australian Rail Museum at Werris Creek has brought many new people to the area.

President - Fiona Brackenbury
From Who'd a Thought it lookout you can see the very rich black soil plains used for cropping to the west and the hills to the east where fine wool is produced. This is just part of the diverse agricultural base on which the business community relies for its livelihood.
