The presentation evening will be held at the Quirindi RSL Club on Thursday, 22 September 2011 and tickets will be available for purchase from the Quirindi RSL Club, or Shoppe Two Ten from Friday, 1 July 2011. You may also contact Tammie Clark, President of the Chamber (telephone 0438 352 350) to make alternative ticket purchase arrangements.

Following receiving nomination(s), the business, individual and/or organisation will be notified in writing by the Chamber. The Chamber will also give them the opportunity to accept, or decline their nomination, as well as confirm the category for which they have been nominated. This paperwork must be received by the Chamber by Monday, 8 August 2011.

A panel of three independent judges with no interest, nor financial involvement with any finalist selected, will carry out the judging. The judges panel will comprise a combination of an impartial retired business person; a current business person skilled with management knowledge in all areas (eg, Occupational Health and Safety, and Work Place Practices); and an individual associated with business, education, and/or government department, state chamber, or a neigh bouring chamber representative. Only two Chamber of Commerce Executive Members, whose business will not be eligible to enter, will know the judges.

Judges will determine winners based on the content and quality of the completed nomination form. Each of the five areas will be given up to 20 points, totalling no more than 100 points for the entire nomination form.

• Management and Professional Practices
• Customer Service
• Community and/or Environmental Involvement
• Overall Impression

Finalists may receive a visit from the judges, or from a mystery shopper to enhance their nomination.

Additional nomination forms will be available from local businesses, nominated drop off locations, and from the Chamber’s website.

Entries closed on Friday, 1 July 2011.

Business, individuals and organisations have until Monday, 8 August 2011 to submit their nomination paperwork.
